Adult and Child CPR/AED, & Infant CPR Review

      This class is for those who are currently certified in adult, infant and child CPR with AED but whose certificates are about to expire. There will be a brief review of skills before being tested. Must bring book and have been certified within the last year.
     This class is designed for individuals who are not professional rescuers. Nurses, Lifeguards, EMS students, athletic trainers and anyone else who requires training to provide CPR in a professional capacity should instead take CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

Lifeguard Training (Location TBD)

     This course teaches participants the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. The course content and activities prepare participants to prevent injuries and drowning, recognize as well as respond quickly and effectively to aquatic emergencies.
Prerequisites:
• Minimum age of 15 years
• Swim 300 yards using breaststroke and front crawl with rhythmic breathing
• Starting in the water, swim 20 yards, using the front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive to a depth of 7 - 10 feet, bring a 10 pound diving brick to the surface, return 20 yards to the starting point and exit the water without using ladder or steps within 1 minute, 40 seconds.
