Dog and Cat First Aid Classes

Now the American Red Cross of the Heartland and the Animal Emergency Clinic want you to be able to save them as well. The American Red Cross Dog and Cat First Aid Class teaches students how to save the lives of the pets they love.
People taking this three-hour course learn dog and cat first aid, what to do when their pet is choking, how to splint broken bones and other important skills. The cost of $35 is due upon registration and includes the student’s choice of an illustrated First Aid Manual for either dogs or cats, an emergency reference guide, and an instructional DVD. Classes are scheduled for:
- Tuesday, September 28; 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 27; 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
- Monday, November 15; 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
All classes are held at the American Red Cross of the Heartland, One Westport Court in Bloomington.
