Helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergency situations.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer ($65)

All classes are held at the American Red Cross of the Heartland classroom (One Westport Court, Bloomington) unless otherwise indicated.

Teaches professional rescuers, including Lifeguards, Nurses, EMS students, and athletic trainers the skills needed to respond to respiratory and cardiac emergencies. Two-rescuer CPR and bag valve resuscitator skills are covered. Pocket mask is included in course fee.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer is a two year certification for most professional rescuers and healthcare providers. Lifeguards receive a one year certification.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Review
This session is for those with CPR/AED certification about to expire who wish to renew their certificate by demonstrating skills and passing a written exam. There is a brief review before testing skills & knowledge. Please bring pocket mask.
