AMERICAN RED CROSS OF THE HEARTLAND  OFFERS ADDITIONAL DISASTER VOLUNTEER  TRAINING

The American Red Cross of the Heartland is offering training for people interested in becoming or further developing their skills as Disaster Relief Volunteers.  Once trained and certified, volunteers are eligible to respond to local and national relief efforts. All volunteers must take "Introduction to Disaster Services" before taking additional courses. This is available online at www.archeartland.org. There is no charge for disaster relief training and participants receive course locations upon registration.  Space is limited and pre-registration is REQUIRED.

Additional course dates  are being selected, but until then, the next disaster training classes are scheduled  within the next couple of weeks, but seating is limited.  If you meet the prerequisites, and are available and interested in one or more  of these classes, please call 662-0500 x0 to reserve one of the remaining spots!

There is no charge for Red Cross disaster courses; however, advanced registration is required by noon on Monday, July 14. Call 662-0500 for more information or to register.
